The new TigerTurf Wett Pro hockey turf installed for the Bathurst Hockey Association gives hockey players the significant advantage of a technically advanced turf designed for top level play.

The TigerTurf Wett Pro surface was selected by Bathurst Regional Council and Hockey Association for its advanced fibre technology.

The benefits to the players include a consistent surface that plays evenly in all directions. The benefit to Council and the Association included the surface integrity offered by sewn seams rather than the glued seams that are more common, and the long life expectancy of the Wett Pro turf.

Bathurst Regional Council had concerns about drainage of the grounds, and had therefore made allowance for drainage repairs to the sub-base as part of the installation.

TigerTurf lifted the existing turf and insitu pad, assessed the site, repaired the asphalt base and checked levels to ensure horizontal drainage worked efficiently and no pooling would be experienced.  Great news for the Bathurst Regional Council and Hockey Association.

Our hardworking TigerTurf team implemented effective drainage and installed the new Wett Pro hockey turf ahead of time, despite difficult weather conditions, shipping delays, and equipment problems.

Now Learmouth Park has a TigerTurf Wett Dressed hockey surface, which was installed 5 years ago, and a new WettPro hockey surface. The upgraded facilities look fabulous, and the star performance of the new turf is certainly appreciated by local hockey teams.
