Recently Completed Projects

Winter has been a very busy time for TigeTurf, with a variety of projects, both small and large, being completed.

From international Hockey pitches, schools multi-sport courts and bowling greens to community projects and unique solutions for schools and kindy's, TigerTurf has been involved in a wide range of installations.

The Mangawhai Activity Zone was a community project which began as a fund-raising venture to build a skate park.  The activity zone now includes family friendly mountain bike and walking tracks, an extensive, and extremely popular, sake park, a children's adventure playground and the all-weather TigerTurf multi-sports court.  Read more in our case study here.

The Warkworth Hockey Charitable Trust officially opened its International Standard WETT Pro Hockey facility after five years of fund raising and thousands of hours of volunteers' time.  Innovation with LED lighting will bring substantial costs savings for the new facility and its popularity has already exceeded expectations.  Details are in the Warkworth case study here.

KindCare Orewa has been rejuvenated with the TigerTurf makeover.   With TigerTurf's TigerPlay soft and versatile playground surface, laid over 20mm of rubber shock pad, the Orewa centre meets critical fall height standards with its homely "back garden" environment.  Read the KinderCare Orewa case study here.

Another wonderful project we are proud to be involved with was the creation of a safe play are for the students at Fairhaven School.  Fairhaven had special requirements for their students, who all have disabilities, and love to play and climb.  The children just love it!

The new purpose-built TigerTurf sports field is a dream come true for Balwyn High School in Melbourne Australia.  The old sports field would dry out and become hard and lumpy in the summer and in the winter it was wet, muddy and dangerously slippery.  "This sports field will undoubtedly take our PE and Sports Programmes to the next level", says Rob Handreck.

TigerTurf's new RinkMaster bowls green is becoming increasingly popular with bowling clubs.  Our latest installation is for Merredin Civic Bowls Club in Western Australia where we have just completed two new RinkMaster greens.  When Merredin members played on the TigerTurf RinkMaster greens at the Stirling Bowling Club, in Perth, they knew that was the surface they had to have.
