As one of the top hockey clubs in Queensland, the players wanted the best surface available. The club was impressed by the quality of its previous TigerTurf hockey surface and the ongoing service provided by TigerTurf. When it came to resurfacing, TigerTurf’s WETT Pro was the obvious choice.
TigerTurf’s grain-free yarn used in the manufacturing of WETT Pro, gives players the freedom to move the ball in any direction easily. A superb wet hockey pitch, TigerTurf WETT Pro is just as clever when used as a dry surface – a useful feature when irrigation is expensive. The incredible durability of WETT Pro adds long-lasting value to Easts Hockey Club’s investment, along with its well-earned reputation for high performance.
Our relationship with Easts Hockey goes back over 10 years when we installed the then state-of-the-art TigerTurf WETT hockey surface. TigerTurf was initially selected after an extensive evaluation of the surfaces offered by the main hockey pitch suppliers. Our latest generation WETT Pro hockey surface remains at the leading edge of hockey surface technology.
Back then, as with now, it is the most durable and responsive surface on the market. It shows little sign of deformation and wear even after extensive use.
Less friction between ball and surface results in a faster, more consistent game that allows the player to dictate the play not the ground. The club players were eager to train on their fantastic new hockey surf pitch, trying out some fancy footwork.
The pitch looks every inch the champion that it is in a cool, natural green and displays the club’s logo alongside TigerTurf’s, highlighting what continues to be, a great relationship between Easts Hockey and TigerTurf.
