Bill McKinlay Park Synthetic Football Turf
TigerTurf’s work at Bill McKinlay Park marked an important moment for both the venue and the wider sporting community, as the project became the first installation of a Pure PTTM football field in New Zealand. Completed in February 2026, the resurfacing of the 8,436sqm football field followed more than a decade of partnership between the club and TigerTurf, who had originally installed the park’s first synthetic turf back in 2011.
University of Auckland
When the University of Auckland sought to maximize the potential of their new state-of-the-art facility, they envisioned a dynamic rooftop space for both recreation and high-performance sport. The Evo Pro surface, specifically designed for futsal and tennis was chosen for this project, to ensure top-tier playing experience.
Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Koutu
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Koutu embarked on a transformative project to revitalise their Junior Courtyard. This initiative was not merely a physical upgrade but a profound celebration of the school’s cultural heritage.

Arrowtown School
TigerTurf’s collaboration with Arrowtown School is the culmination of a journey that began nearly a decade earlier. Initial conversations around upgrading the school’s outdoor sporting facilities started in 2016, with a shared ambition to create a high quality, future ready football field that would serve students for years to come. Over the following ten years, TigerTurf worked alongside the school as aspirations were refined, funding avenues explored, and technical constraints carefully addressed. Progress required patience, persistence, and trust on both sides, but the long term vision remained clear—deliver a surface that would genuinely transform how sport is played and experienced at the school.
Private Residence in Papamoa
TigerTurf was engaged to upgrade a 396m² outdoor area at a residential property in Papamoa, creating a low maintenance, year-round green space that complemented the home’s coastal setting. Working with local agent BayTurf, the team installed TigerTurf’s NRG 2 infill-free turf over an existing asphalt base to achieve a clean, contemporary finish with uniform colour and minimal upkeep.
Private Residence in Fitzroy
Taranaki Turf Doctors was engaged to support the development of a new residential property in Fitzroy, where the client wanted an outdoor space that would look sharp from day one and continue to perform well for future tenants. With the home being a new build, the brief centred on creating a tidy, durable landscape that would complement the clean architectural lines of the property. The developer was building his rental portfolio and wanted a surface that would present well during viewings, stay consistent year‑round, and reduce the ongoing maintenance burden for tenants. The 35m² area was modest, but the expectation for a polished finish meant every stage of the installation needed to be well‑planned.
Tikipunga Primary School
TigerTurf was pleased to return to Tikipunga School in Whangārei in 2021, following the success of an earlier project that had strengthened the relationship between the school and the installation team. The new brief focused on upgrading a concrete base area into a vibrant 656m² multicourt and games zone designed to support a range of activities for students of all ages.
Bairds Mainfreight Primary School
TigerTurf’s longstanding partnership with Baird’s Mainfreight Primary School reached new heights in 2023 with the transformation of a 300 SQM derelict area into a vibrant, multi-purpose games space. Located in Auckland, the project replaced a fenced-off patch of grass where an old classroom once stood.
Hunterville School
TigerTurf was engaged by Hunterville School to develop an engaging and versatile games area covering 286 m² on an existing asphalt base in Hunterville. Work began in early 2025, with planning focusing on a surface that could accommodate a wide range of play activities suited for imaginative games. By July 2025, the installation of TigerTurf’s “Trophy” product was completed, featuring an olive-green base carpet complemented by colourful game markings. The layout showcased a number snake, alpha blocks, and assorted shapes—all carefully painted in vibrant tones—encouraging creativity and learning as part of everyday play.
St Benedict’s School
In July 2025, TigerTurf completed a 630-square-metre multi-court installation at St Benedict’s School in Wellington, working in collaboration with Tracer Construction. The goal was to deliver a durable, all-weather surface that could support a range of sports and activities, while also enhancing the school’s outdoor environment. The final result was a vibrant, dual-marked netball and basketball court featuring a blue inner playing area framed by an olive green outer zone—both functional and visually appealing.
Mangawhai Beach School
TigerTurf NZ recently collaborated with Mangawhai Beach School to enhance their sports facilities. Situated in the scenic town of Mangawhai, the school aimed to upgrade their courts to provide a superior sporting experience for both students and the local community. The project involved the installation of TigerTurf’s premium Advantage product, renowned for its durability and performance.
