Transforming a Small Backyard into a Year-Round Oasis with NRG2

NRG2 was selected for its refined appearance, dense fibre construction and natural feel underfoot, making it well suited to residential landscapes where tidy edges and consistent presentation are important. The infill-free design also reduces mess, which is ideal for outdoor living and poolside areas. Installation was completed by March 2025, with BayTurf preparing the asphalt base for effective drainage and delivering precise joins and clean perimeters around paving and garden beds.

The result is a durable, visually consistent surface that requires significantly less maintenance than natural grass.The completed project provides the homeowners with an attractive, practical outdoor space that stays green throughout the seasons. The combination of a stable base, NRG 2 turf and professional installation has delivered a polished, low-care landscape solution
backed by TigerTurf’s local manufacturing and support network.

Taranaki Turf Doctors was engaged to support the development of a new residential property in Fitzroy, where the client wanted an outdoor space that would look sharp from day one and continue to perform well for future tenants. TigerTurf reinvented the meaning of residential tennis court for a delighted Mt Eden client by bringing an unplayable, unattractive old court to energetic life with a brilliant velvet green, technical TigerTurf Tournament 1000 tennis surface. In the leafy retreat of our Mt Eden client, the fantastic TigerTurf Tournament tennis court is a superb court for family and friends to come and enjoy tennis fun with her. The rich green tennis court has become a fabulous garden feature as well as a high-quality tennis court that beautifully rejuvenated an unusable, unsightly old court infested with damp moss and mould that spoiled the family’s enjoyment of the garden. Resurfacing the tennis court with TigerTurf Tournament 1000 would give the client an excellent, all-weather tennis surface for play at every level. And there was no time to waste – our client was soon to host a very special event which included tennis, clearly impossible on the tennis court as it was. Therefore, TigerTurf had come to resolve her problem quickly.
