Dion Nash has supported the drive to raise the profile of cricket at St Paul’s College

Dion Nash was keen to help improve the standard of cricket facilities at the school, beginning with the construction of completely new TigerTurf practice wickets. These provide the perfect wickets on which train school cricket teams, making it possible for the First XI to play at a higher level than previously. The aim is to lift the standard and numbers of the school cricket teams, and to have a strong development team coming through.

The new wickets were part of the renovation of all the facilities at St Paul College to bring the school up to the standard required by the modern school curriculum. The building programme complete, the principal has turned his attention to the need to provide quality cricket facilities to allow more teams to have adequate practice hours on responsive cricket surfaces. With Dion Nash to provide the best advice possible, the school selected TigerTurf as the right partner for this project.

The inviting green perfection of the new practice nets has made them the popular hub of cricket at the college. Now practice afternoons resound with the thud of ball on bat amid shouts of encouragement and praise. Glendowie College is delighted with the continuing success of its new performance sports facility for encouraging and developing existing and new teams at the school. TigerTurf was asked to construct new, two-lane cricket nets to provide a training facility for current and future school cricket teams. The college had no practice cricket nets and wanted us to construct attractive, high-performance practice wickets to encourage more college students to play cricket and to develop the skills of school teams at every level. The new nets had to be suitable for training top grades of school cricket teams, as the plan was to build the profile of cricket within the school and to eventually have teams ready to play in the upper grades of school cricket competitions.

Remuera Intermediate School

TigerTurf takes pride in turning worn, unsafe, sports facilities into fresh, modern sports grounds for schools as we have for Remuera Intermediate School. The school grounds now look wonderful and, most importantly, the cricket teams have superb practice wickets that will attract more students into one of the top team sports in New Zealand. TigerTurf had to work quickly to have the Remuera Intermediate School wicket and two practice nets ready for use before the winter. We planned the new surfaces as durable, modern cricket wickets to give students and coaches technical practice nets and a high-quality school cricket wicket for many years to come. And, of course, to look fabulous.

Mt Albert Grammar’s Indoor Artificial Cricket Turf hits the jackpot with Students

TigerTurf's Premier artificial cricket turf completed the newly constructed Indoor cricket practice facility, commissioned by Mt Albert Grammar. This amazing new facility was in response to a need for its cricketers to train all year round to develop the skills to become top-level cricketers. And we know that New Zealand’s future cricket heroes are amongst those practicing in this superb cricket facility.

Action Indoor Sports resurfaces with Premier Indoor

The Premier Indoor cricket-wicket replaces flood-damaged surface. “The colour scheme is fantastic and brings the sports area to life; the new surface is great to play on.” The new TigerTurf Premier Indoor turf at Action Indoor Sports, Pakuranga, met with enthusiastic praise from members as the Centre re-opened its doors after New Year.

My Nets High Tech Cricket Coaching facilities

Specialised cricket coaching facilities installed by My Nets have been given a work out and thumbs up by one of New Zealand’s best batsmen, Rob Nicol, a former Black Cap and currently captain of the Otago cricket team. The TigerTurf Premier Indoor cricket wicket was the finishing touch for these technical cricket practice wickets.

A cricket practice facility on home turf
