We caught up with Jon to get the lo-down on his new role as Sales Manager\u2026<\/p>\n
Hi Jon, welcome to TigerTurf! To get us started, tell us about what your new role as Sales Manager will entail\u2026 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ll be a Sales & Account Manager focussing on sport in the south of the UK. I will be working with architects, consultants, contractors and end users to deliver quality sports surfaces!<\/p>\n Can you describe what a typical day is expected to look like (if it\u2019s not too early to say!) as our new Sales Manager?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It is so varied which is why I love it! I can be onsite with a sports club one day, hearing about their vision and dreams for their club, and then I can be delivering workshops and RIBA accredited CPD\u2019s to architects and consultants the next day to discuss artificial pitch construction and the options available to them.<\/p>\n Do you have any specific aims, objectives, or targets you are looking to meet entering the role of Sales Manager?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I really want to embed myself firmly into our marketplace and work closely with our partners to deliver the best possible result for the end-user.<\/p>\n What would you say your main strengths are? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Energy, passion, enthusiasm, as well as honest and open conversation. I just love sports and to be able to work in this industry gives me massive satisfaction!<\/p>\n What lead you to your new role at TigerTurf?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I previously worked in a similar role at another artificial grass manufacturer. I\u2019ve been working with sports facilities (equipment\/maintenance\/surfacing) in the UK and Australia for over 16 years, so I\u2019m delighted and excited to now be working for the UK\u2019s leading artificial grass manufacturer!<\/p>\n David Hook, Sales Director says, \u2018Jon joins us at a pivotal time as TigerTurf look to make huge strides and investments in UK sport from 2021 and beyond.
