About the role
Due to growth a great opportunity has opened up in our Maintenance team! Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne you will be responsible for maintaining our industry leading sporting and recreation synthetic grass facilities; your responsibilities day to day will be within the Synthetic Turf Maintenance division which services a variety of clients throughout Melbourne, regional Victoria, and interstate, predominately servicing councils and schools.
This is a customer facing role therefore, a neat and professional appearance along with a polite and customer service attitude is a must.
If you have the skills and experience listed below “Great” however, we are looking for the right person to complement our fun and motivated team and with that in mind we are willing to train the right person for the role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preventative and corrective maintenance duties
- Ride on grooming equipment duties
- Hand operated grooming equipment duties
- Weed control duties
- Repair work as required
- Keeping all tools and equipment clean and in good order
- Be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
- Present company vehicle in a professional manner
Skills and Requirements
- Must have a valid current driver’s license
- Experience operating relevant machinery is an advantage i.e ride on grooming equipment, handheld grooming equipment, motorised backpack blowers
- Have an understanding of machine preventative maintenance
- Able to work some weekends as required
- Friendly can-do attitude
- Self-Motivated, organized, physically fit & ability to work autonomously
- High attention to detail
- Construction Industry White Card – or prepared to gain certification
- Working with children – or able and prepared to gain certification
