A spread of “dull and dangerous”
As we know, all schools need their grounds to be useful and safe all year. The worn, uneven asphalt courts were no fun for the students.
They were neither attractive nor barely functional. And the lawn wasn’t working too well either; muddy and slippery in the winter, spoilt by dry, sparse growth and dust in the summer, the lawn was unused.
A sprinkle of student creativity
The BOT wanted the school to be bright and fresh, provide better facilities for students and overcome the problems bad weather caused with the natural grass lawns.
The school appointed a student committee to discuss the design of this exciting project with TigerTurf.
The school and the student committee had a good idea of what they wanted, their preferences, and how they’d like to use the areas. TigerTurf also offered suggestions from our depth of experience of what can work really well for schools.
