We are looking for a candidate with experience in Logistics to be part of the team. The successful applicant will be a key member of the TigerTurf New Zealand Production team.
Overview of the role
Coordinate all Logistics functions relating to exports of finished goods and imports of yarn and other raw materials.
- Facilitating all freight and Logistics support and quotes for all orders exported from TTNZ.
- Preparing all documentation and record keeping required to execute an efficient and compliant export/import service for TigerTurf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all arrangements related to containers for Australia and other exports.
- Oversee freight costs for all Australian and other export shipments.
- Maintain an accurate Purchase Orders Imports file, ensuring all shipping documents, orders, invoices, and packing lists are added for all exports/imports in Greentree.
- Send import/export documents to the Freight Forwarder.
- Update freight costs and budgets for all imports and exports.
- Compare freight costs with quotes/agreements for all export shipments.
- Prepare supplier invoice packages for all import containers delivered to TigerTurf.
- Assist Sales with requests for freight cost quotes for all imports and exports.
- Book special services for urgent exports and imports, including tracking and VGM for all export containers.
- Send relevant documents to Australian/export clients when containers are dispatched.
- Provide the Despatch Coordinator with Dangerous Goods (DG) certificates for all exports.
- Allocate grass to Sales Orders for all export and Australian shipments.
- Update the costing template for local, export, and import freight costs.
- Ensure compliance with MPI accreditation and all related requirements.
- Manage letters of credit and other shipping documentation.
- Verify freight invoices against the budget/quotes and prepare them for approval.
- Clear backorders in Greentree daily (for all exports/Australian shipments).
- Monitor and track all imports, promptly notifying any delays in planned deliveries.
- Manage the Purchase Orders Imports process, maintaining files and documentation daily. Process export sales inquiries, raise sales orders, and issue order confirmations.
- Accurately complete commercial invoices and shipping documentation 100% of the time, prepare supplier and freight invoices for receipting of all containers, and assist with the receipting process when needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and regularly monitor progress and results through quarterly meetings.

- Valid New Zealand work permit.
- At least 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in export and import freight.
