The Bucklands Beach Story

The Bucklands Beach Story

The new TigerTurf Trophy multi-sport
court at Bucklands Beach Primary
provides consistently high training
facilities for netball, hockey and tennis
teams. On this durable, all-weather turf,
players can develop their technical skills
safely throughout every season.
Impressive Performance

Impressive Performance

TigerTurf managed the entire building
process, beginning with the removal
of trees and cricket nets, before
constructing a sturdy, free-draining
dynamic base to support the high
performance Trophy sports surface.
Completed with a new fence and
concrete edging, the turf is permanently
marked up in colours according to each
sport. The bright green court contrasts
with the lighter TigerTurf Summer Envy
44 XWR lawn – a soft, dry, durable
surface around the court for supporters
to sit on during games.

TigerTurf Trophy

TigerTurf Trophy is a dressed surface designed for
multi-sport use in schools and clubs. It is excellent for
hockey* and tennis and meets the exacting standards
of an FIH National category sand dressed field as well
as being ITF fast paced certified.
It also provides consistent performance for sports
such as basketball, netball and in playgrounds, as well
as a brilliant multi-purpose surface suitable for general
Gym use.

Remarkable Improvement

Bucklands Beach Primary now has an attractive, multi-purpose dry court for use all year round, a remarkable improvement on the wet, unused area of school grounds it once was.

As school rolls swell, no school can afford to have unusable areas within its grounds. As well as being functional, the new sports turf encourages more children to participate in sport, enjoying all the advantages of being active and part of a team.

After three years of planning and fundraising, the school was proud to invite Maurice Williamson, the local MP, to open the new TigerTurf multi-sport court.

The occasion was celebrated with an inaugural netball game and a gala day that was enjoyed by the entire school community.
