Case Studies
A new TigerTurf Trophy surface over old concrete courts instantly creates a brilliant new sports
area – ready for action. “The children are so excited about using the new turf,” Heather Tanner,
Principal of Elstow-Waihou School.

The school now has an all-season centre
for community sports, permanently
marked up for basketball, netball, four
square and tennis with hockey goal areas
marked at each end.
“It has a wow factor with the colours,”
commented Heather Tanner. The courts
are now bright blue and red, with clear
white markings to delineate each sporting
code. The school grounds look fantastic,
and the students are outside playing on
their fresh new turf at every opportunity.
TigerTurf Trophy is a multi-sport surface tested to International Tennis Federation standards as well as the Federation of International Hockey standards. It’s a popular choice for clubs and schools, giving a high standard of performance while being durable and attractive.
The community will also be making the most of the TigerTurf Trophy multi-sport, all-weather surface for sports practices, local tennis matches and sports events. Heather said: “it’s important that communities have a focus of fitness, health and leisure, and this facility ticks all the boxes.”
We completely agree with Heather, and look forward to some photos of the sports events planned to celebrate the official opening of the new courts.
