Mosston Primary School

Mosston Primary School loves its vivid new TigerTurf Trophy multi-court. It has been given a steady
workout day in, day out since TigerTurf installed one of our top-ranked multi-sport surfaces. Tiger
Turf Trophy has fantastic playing qualities for several ball sports, extending the number of sports
and playing hours the children can now enjoy.

Safer And Better Playing Conditions

Mosston Primary now has a superb Trophy multi-sport turf surface, turning the old netball court into the
students’ happy place, with new goals and hoop, thanks to a grant from NZCT to Mosston Primary School.
The new multi-court extends the sports facilities at the school to give the students a top quality multi-sports
surface for safer and better playing conditions throughout the whole year.

Encouraged Students Into Playing Sports

Technical in its design, Trophy is a top quality
surface that provides excellent grip for games
in which players twist, sprint and stop suddenly.
Its yarn properties give it amazing durability and
long-lasting value for the school’s investment.
This surface comes in very attractive colours.
Mosston School chose the clear blue playing
surface to make a striking contrast against the
soft, olive green Trophy lawn around the court.
We take special delight in our school projects,
and in seeing the excitement growing as the
first day of play on the bright new surface
draws near. We hope Mosston Primary
School children enjoy many years of passing,
defending, shooting and scoring on their bright
blue TigerTurf multi-sport surface.

TigerTurf Trophy

TigerTurf Trophy is a dressed surface designed for
multi-sport use in schools and clubs. It is excellent for
hockey* and tennis and meets the exacting standards
of an FIH National category sand dressed field as well
as being ITF fast paced certified.
It also provides consistent performance for sports
such as basketball, netball and in playgrounds, as well
as a brilliant multi-purpose surface suitable for general
Gym use.

Funding support from NZCT finished the project to a high standard

The school community raised the funds for the Trophy sports turf, but lacked the funds to buy hoops and goals to complete the project.

An application to the New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) for financial assistance was successful resulting in the installation if modern, high quality goals and hoops.

From grey netball court to bright blue and olive multi-sport court

Better still, the court is permanently marked for hockey and netball, and provides an excellent all-weather surface for basketball and tennis. The installation team laid the Trophy turf surface over the existing asphalt base with a new fence.

The school couldn’t be happier with the result, rating the completed project as excellent, along with the construction team’s workmanship and friendly manner. “Adam was amazing – always there regularly to answer our questions.”
