The clear blue TigerTurf WETT Pro surface of the number one pitch complies with the stringent FIH standards for international hockey play. The Lumosa LED lighting
system incorporates LED lights that produce the brighter light required for televising the action on the pitch during international tournaments. We also installed more extensive back netting and run offs than is standard for club hockey in order to meet the FIH international playing standards. North Harbour Hockey’s Turfs 2, 3 and 4
also have new WETT Pro top-level hockey surfaces laid by TigerTurf; each with a deep green playing surface defined subtly, yet clearly, by an attractive olive-green border.
TigerTurf rubber underlays absorb impact and lift the performance of hockey pitches
All four TigerTurf WETT Pro pitches have been laid over new 10mm rubber underlays to improve the playing performance for skillful players and to relieve impact stress on joints during the long, hard training routines players maintain at this level of competition.
The underlays also extend the life of this outstanding, durable hockey surface and comply with international standards for hockey pitches.

The WETT Pro pitches are irrigated by pop-up canons designed to promote a fast, efficient spread of water without waste.

The TigerTurf Summer Envy landscape lawn on the central ’village green’ provides an attractive, clean, all-weather lawn on which the hockey supporters and community can gather. Set conveniently between all four pitches, the Village Green is the popular hub of this fabulous hockey facility, the luscious green cherry on the cake.
