Enhancing Play: One Tree Hill College’s New Multisport Facility

In June 2022, TigerTurf successfully completed the installation of a state-of-the-art multicourt facility at One Tree Hill College in Auckland. This project, covering an area of 2178 square meters, was designed to enhance the school's sports infrastructure and provide a versatile playing surface for various sports activities. The new facility not only benefits the students but also serves the wider community, promoting active lifestyles and fostering a sense of community engagement. The installation of the TigerTurf Advantage surface has transformed the school's sports grounds, making it a hub for athletic excellence and community events.

A Hub for Sport and Community

The TigerTurf Advantage surface was chosen for its exceptional durability and performance. This high-quality, medium pile surface is designed to withstand the rigors of multiple sports while providing a consistent playing experience. The Advantage surface is known for its high ball bounce and excellent traction, making it ideal for both competitive and recreational play. Its all-weather capabilities ensure that the courts remain playable throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions. This versatility is particularly beneficial for One Tree Hill College, as it allows the school to host a variety of sports events and training sessions without worrying about surface wear and tear.

The multicourt facility at One Tree Hill College features comprehensive line markings to accommodate multiple sports. The courts include four tennis courts marked in olive green, four netball courts with blue surfaces and yellow lines, four turbo touch line markings in red, and two hockey D’s and line markings also in red. This thoughtful design ensures that the courts can be used for a wide range of sports, maximizing the utility of the space. The clear and distinct line markings help in organizing different sports activities simultaneously, making the facility a versatile asset for the school and the community.
