Pakuranga College Turf Resurface

Pakuranga College embarked on a significant project to upgrade their existing turf, aiming to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of their sports facilities. The project involved the resurfacing of the existing turf with new EVO Pro TigerTurf, accompanied by the installation of a new 10mm rubber pad underlay. The vibrant blue and olive-green turf was meticulously marked for netball, tennis, and hockey, catering to a diverse range of sporting activities.

Transformation of Pakuranga College's Sports Facilities

The project aimed to revamp Pakuranga College's sports facilities, ensuring a modern and high-performance environment for athletic activities. TigerTurf undertook several critical tasks to achieve this transformation.

The first step involved the removal and proper disposal of the existing turf. This process was essential to prepare the ground for the new installation, ensuring a clean slate for the project. Following the turf removal, TigerTurf addressed any imperfections in the underlying base through meticulous remediation and base patching. This step was crucial for establishing a stable and even foundation, which is vital for the longevity and performance of the new turf.

Pakuranga College Unveils Advanced EVO Pro TigerTurf with 10mm Rubber Pad for Enhanced Performance and Community Engagement

To enhance shock absorption and improve performance characteristics, a new 10mm rubber pad underlay was installed. This layer provides a cushioned base, reducing the impact on athletes and contributing to a safer playing environment. The core of the project was the installation of the new EVO Pro TigerTurf. This advanced turf was carefully laid out to create optimal playing conditions for various sports, ensuring a top-tier experience for users.
