St Joseph’s Primary School, Nelson, asked TigerTurf to bring life and colour into the heart of the school, inspiring the students to play more outdoor activities and games. The existing grey asphalt area certainly wasn’t motivating anyone to enjoy active, social or imaginative play. But that has all changed with the irresistible, all-weather TigerTurf Tournament multi-sport playground.

St Joseph’s Primary School sports a new fun, vibrant all-weather play space that is sure to keep the students active

The simple installation of a fresh green and blue TigerTurf Tournament multi-sport court has generated enthusiasm among the students and staff of St Josephs, and brought colour, interest, and extended learning opportunities to the school grounds.

TigerTurf multi-sports courts have permanent markings for several sports and games

Brightly coloured, pleasantly soft, and textured, the inviting green Tournament multi-sports court is marked permanently for netball and football, scaled down to fit the court area, and will be used for volleyball, tennis, foursquare, and general fun.

Popular playground games and activities in cheerful, eye-catching colours and shapes are inset into the sapphire blue turf alongside the central court. These include an alphabet snake, number ladder, clock, and map of New Zealand, offering more activities to choose from and to inspire imaginative play.
