The school was so pleased with their sports
ground, that TigerTurf was entrusted with
the task of solving another problem for
the school. We were determined to create
something really special to celebrate our
long standing relationship with Tauraroa
Area School.
The poolside area was already covered by a rubber pad that was deteriorating because of exposure to the UV radiation from the sun. As the rubber broke down, rubber particles migrated into the pool, clogging up the filters. As well, the rubber was too hot for the children to sit on comfortably in the summer.
TigerTurf covered the rubber pad with Trophy, a durable, multi-use turf, designed in the glowing colours of the school houses. The festive colours promote a lively house spirit and the swimming sports are now even more fun. The turf is clean, and so is the pool: everyone can sit back and enjoy the summer.
