Another World Class Hockey Facility in the Heart of Waikato

TigerTurf began the installation by laying a 10mm rubber pad, providing a solid foundation for the new surface. They then installed the WETT Pro surface, designed to meet the high standards of the International Hockey Federation (FIH). This state-of-the-art surface ensures that the field meets the rigorous demands of professional hockey. To add a personalized touch, a custom logo created by SignGrass was installed prominently at the halfway line, enhancing the field's aesthetics and school spirit.

Aiming to achieve FIH CLASS II lighting standards (500 Lux), the project included the strategic addition of extra light towers at the center of the field. The Lumosa LED Luminaires were chosen for their superior quality and energy efficiency, ensuring optimal visibility during evening games and practices.

In partnership with Think Water, TigerTurf also managed the installation of a sophisticated irrigation system to improve playing conditions. This system features solid set sprinklers positioned above ground, designed to simulate a genuine wet hockey field experience. The irrigation system perfectly complements the TigerTurf WETT Pro Turf, ensuring the field remains in top condition
