TigerTurf safety pads a sensible addition under high-use surfaces
We suggested that a 10mm TigerTurf safety pad laid beneath the playing surface would be a good plan for two main reasons.
1. First, it would protect young joints and limbs from damage during hours of running and jumping on the inviting new surface. It would cushion the inevitable tumbles and bumps of vigorous play, too.
2. The second sound reason for installing a shock pad is to extend the life of the playing surface. Schools can keep this valuable asset in play for longer with a shock pad to absorb and spread impact away from the initial contact point, alleviating wear and tear of the surface.
TigerTurf playgrounds add drama and colour to school playgrounds
The school logo is featured largely in the centre of the court, an option we offer that has been popular with many schools and clubs, and always looks superb. This is an excellent way to put your brand in front of an audience and celebrate your team’s identity.
With the addition of an extensive shade sail, the students at Western Heights School are playing safely (and energetically) on their colourful new playground.
