Environmentally Conscious Turf Resurfacing at Westlake Girls' high School
TigerTurf was invited to present options to resurface the two full-size football fields at Westlake Girls High School. The previous turf was a traditional sand and SBR rubber performance infill surface installed approx. 10 years ago. This site was subject to severe flooding in 2023 during cyclone Gabriel and a significant portion of the infill was washed away in the floods. TigerTurf along with its parent company TenCate Grass have been leading the research and development of turf systems with non infilled and no-performance infill products eliminating the need to add mobile infill systems.
