The Ecocept base is made from recycled rubber (old car tyres) and end of life plastic. These components are ground down and refined into pellets which are then processed into an innovative porous pavement. Essentially, TigerTurf’s Ecocept turns landfill into high-performance sports bases used under synthetic turf sports playing surfaces.
