Located in Surrey, St George’s school in Weybridge hosts a huge sports provision as well as sharing a hockey field Premier League Hockey Club, “The Old Georgians”. One of their existing fields required resurfacing and Evo Pro was selected as the perfect product to bring their field back to life.
The St George’s school appointed McArdle Sport Tec to carry on the remedial foundation works and resurfacing after coming across the TigerTurf WETT Pro field at HMS Temeraire, that was also refurbished by McArdle.
Rob Deacock Grounds Manager at St George’s college said, “The pitch has already hosted several high-profile events and has been praised by those using the facility for its performance, playability, and aesthetics.”
Evo Pro was chosen to provide a long, lasting, quality surface to provide a first-class hockey facility for the College and Old Georgians Hockey club. TigerTurf worked with parent company, TenCate Grass to create bespoke maroon run-offs to compliment the school’s colours as well as specially made logo mat of the schools logo.
