Backed by the FAW’s Fit-For-Future Facilities Programme, with investment from the UK Government’s Grassroots Facility Programme and the Premier League, this £350,000 project is a huge boost for football in North Wales. But this impressive new pitch is just the start. With upgraded changing rooms, toilets and catering facilities also on the way, Bangor City Stadium is set to raise the game for both players and the wider community.​

Innovation tested at the highest level​

Pure PT has already been put through its paces at PSV Eindhoven, proving itself at the very top level. Chosen for Bangor because it combines player comfort with long-lasting durability and a lighter environmental footprint, the surface has been shaped by constant feedback from professional players and coaches. The result is a pitch that plays like natural stadium turf, without the mess or issues of rubber infill.​
