Sales Manager joins Team Tiger for Southern area!

TigerTurf are delighted to welcome Jon Burnitt to the team as our Southern Sales Manager. Jon has joined the team at an exciting team as we take on the challenges of post-BREXIT Britain, along with tackling the effects of COVID has had on us as an industry.

We caught up with Jon to get the lo-down on his new role as Sales Manager…

Hi Jon, welcome to TigerTurf! To get us started, tell us about what your new role as Sales Manager will entail…

I’ll be a Sales & Account Manager focussing on sport in the south of the UK. I will be working with architects, consultants, contractors and end users to deliver quality sports surfaces!

Can you describe what a typical day is expected to look like (if it’s not too early to say!) as our new Sales Manager?

It is so varied which is why I love it! I can be onsite with a sports club one day, hearing about their vision and dreams for their club, and then I can be delivering workshops and RIBA accredited CPD’s to architects and consultants the next day to discuss artificial pitch construction and the options available to them.

Do you have any specific aims, objectives, or targets you are looking to meet entering the role of Sales Manager?

I really want to embed myself firmly into our marketplace and work closely with our partners to deliver the best possible result for the end-user.

What would you say your main strengths are?

Energy, passion, enthusiasm, as well as honest and open conversation. I just love sports and to be able to work in this industry gives me massive satisfaction!

What lead you to your new role at TigerTurf?

I previously worked in a similar role at another artificial grass manufacturer. I’ve been working with sports facilities (equipment/maintenance/surfacing) in the UK and Australia for over 16 years, so I’m delighted and excited to now be working for the UK’s leading artificial grass manufacturer!
