No infill means fewer weekly top-ups, no decompacting, and significantly reduced machine hours. Over a decade, this leads to lower fuel use, less wear on equipment and a considerably smaller carbon footprint.
Without sand, rubber or any other infill, transportation also becomes easier. A full sized Pure PT football field requires only 6 transport moves. Traditional systems? They need anywhere from 22 to 32. The total weight also decrease from over 200 tons to just 30. This results in fewer trucks, lower emissions and a smoother installation process overall.
