Always at the top of their game, the Sutherland Sharks chose TigerTurf’s Endurance 60 to replace their well-used existing TigerTurf football turf.
The Sutherland Sharks were the first NSW Premier League Club to install an artificial football surface, and now will be one of only three clubs in NSW that have a FIFA 2-star field. Only six premier league clubs in the whole of Australia have a FIFA 2-star field.
It is ten years since the initial discussions that led to our installation of the Shark’s first synthetic football surface at Seymour Shaw Park. That proved to be a wonderful asset for the club, enabling play throughout the year at every club level.
After such intensive use, it was time to think about a replacement turf. Endurance 60 is a 3rd generation football turf that has been specifically designed and manufactured to meet international premium performance standards.
The Sutherland Sharks Football Club chose TigerTurf Endurance 60 for its performance features, and for its durability, as this is a high-use field. The new field has a specialised artificial football surface manufactured from TenCate XP Blade+ yarn, the only yarn in the world that is sold with an unlimited play durability warranty from the yarn manufacturer.
The project was completed right on time for the club to kick off the 6-side competition and ready for the first Premier team pre-season cup game. It’s going to be a high-octane game on the club’s new TigerTurf Endurance playing surface!
