When you move into a house with an amazing view high out over the dramatic south Australian coast, and you have a derelict tennis court marring your view, one of the first things you do is to fix it. The owners asked us to make it better, and we did.

A well-constructed base is a good start for sports surfaces
First to tidy up the site: we cleared away broken, loose surface material and the existing, shabby fencing and disposed of it for the client. We carried out some remedial work and the area was looking much better already.
Because the site is retained, with a sheer drop along the far side of the court, we installed a stable, free-draining base to maintain the performance of the surface.
We then laser-graded and rolled the base ready for the playing surface. The client constructed a sturdy retaining wall with landscaping to complete the picture-perfect setting.

TigerTurf Tournament 1000 was laid, in a rich, deep olive that forms a refreshing green oasis at the bottom of the garden, a peaceful view from the house.
It’s particularly refreshing for these owners, who now have a smooth, flawless lawn that needs no mowing, irrigation or maintenance throughout the year – not a bad replacement for a
scruffy difficult site.
Tournament 1000 is one of our most popular multi-sport surfaces and when the surface becomes tired after a decade or two of use, the client generally asks us for the same surface.
On this durable court, with its new posts, net and fencing, the family can enjoy their favourite ball sports, and younger children can play safely; the level, clean surface is perfect for entertaining, too.
