TigerTurf Tournament gives an excellent surface for several sports, and is especially popular for use in schools, community sports centres and recreational areas.
Now, whatever the season, the students at Eastern Ranges School can play outside during breaks from lessons, and practise team sports during PE and after school. With the extra exercise, come many benefits: increased concentration, fitness, and settled classes being just a few.
TigerTurf was asked by Eastern Ranges School to create a useful, durable sports centre to replace the existing cracked, rough, useless asphalt play area. The resulting, brilliantly coloured
multi-sport turf is marked up ready to use for tennis, basketball, four square, cricket, and even has a running track.
John Glare remarked: “Who knows, with some more training on the running track we might even produce a future Olympian.” We do hope so, John, and look forward to that day too.
The installation of the TigerTurf multi-sports surface has increased the recreational area at Eastern Ranges School, presented opportunities for the students to gain extra skills and fitness throughout the year, and brought life and colour to a previously unused part of the school.
That was a smart move!
