TigerTurf had to agree with the Barooga Bowling Club’s comment regarding the upgrade of the TigerWeave green we installed 13 years earlier: “For serious bowlers, there is only one surface to bowl on.” The Barooga Bowling Club members have thoroughly enjoyed 13 years of serious bowling on their much-loved TigerWeave Green, as have visiting bowlers and opposition clubs. With the prospect of replacing their star performer inevitable, there was no decision to consider – the club asked TigerTurf to replace their existing TigerWeave green surface with a fresh modern TigerWeave green. After lifting and removing the veteran TigerWeave green, the TigerTurf team rescreeded the base. It is essential to get the base just right to ensure a perfect bowling experience for TigerWeave greens. With the TigerWeave green surface laid, TigerTurf completed the installation to our signature professional finish, before handing over the handsome new Number 1 TigerWeave green to the happy Barooga Bowling Club and its members. They have already begun playing on their new green and can look ahead to another decade and more of serious competition on their modern, technical TigerWeave bowling surface.

The Barooga Club bowlers look forward to many years of sharpening their skills on two fantastic TigerWeave greens, proudly sharing their greens with visiting bowlers, and to hosting more tournaments.
