Phillip Islands Bowling Club’s members had always loved their TigerWeave greens and took pride in its reputation as the best bowling surface in the district. Now, after 11 years, it was time to replace the surface, and the TigerTurf bowls team was asked for a new TigerWeave green. We have enjoyed our two TigerWeave green projects for the Phillip Island Club and look forward to laying a high-performance TigerWeave surface on another of the club’s greens.

The club members have always been very happy with the wonderful playing performance given by their TigerWeave green, and proud of its reputation as the best green surface in the district.
When the committee decided it was time for a new bowling surface, it had to be the best again, laid by the TigerTurf team. We were proud to be asked back for another project at the Phillips Island Bowling Club. The members had thoroughly enjoyed every game on the TigerWeave green, as had every visiting bowling club team. Its striking appearance and consistent performance sustained the extended playing hours the club timetabled to accommodate its popularity.
The team began the project by removing the old surface before checking the base layer to be sure it was perfect before installing the new TigerWeave surface.
The club has been so happy with the finish and performance of the new surface that the committee has booked the second green to be resurfaced with TigerWeave by the TigerTurf team. We are looking forward to returning to the Phillip Island Bowling Club for the next TigerWeave green project.
