TigerTurf Tournament 1000 has all the qualities needed by St Therese’s Primary School in Essendon: multi-use, an excellent tennis surface, with the durability required for daily use by the school and the neighbouring tennis club.

Tennis
When it was time for St Therese’s Primary School to resurface its three existing tennis courts, shared with the local tennis club in Essendon, TigerTurf was delighted to be asked to take up the project. We take pleasure in working with primary schools to resolve problems of sites and usage with a lasting, loved school asset.
As always, the TigerTurf construction team began by inspecting the site, identifying areas of concern regarding movement and minor base subsidence. When the existing surface was removed, we repaired the problem areas to mitigate the pooling of water on a level base that will support the TigerTurf Tournament 1000 surface at the top of its game throughout a long lifetime of service.
Then, the fun began for the school, with the installation of the fresh green TigerTurf Tournament 1000 surface, marked clearly in white for tennis; however, the court is certainly not restricted to one sporting application.
The three tennis courts for school and club use will be an all-weather multi-sports surface for PE, general sports and recreational use.
The bright green TigerTurf Tournament 1000 courts are an attractive feature of the school grounds and, of course, the favourite place for the students come together.
The school now has just what it asked us for: a durable, multi-use asset that will inspire students to engage in outdoor activities with their friends – perfect!
