Yarram Bowling Club members tried out several different bowling surfaces before choosing the TigerTurf RinkMaster lawn bowls surface. After playing on the RinkMaster surface at Golden Crest, Nerang on the Gold Coast, they knew that was the one for them.
The TigerTurf RinkMaster bowls green is part of a larger complex at the Yarram Country Club in Victoria, set in picturesque Gippsland, with many active members. The club offers top quality facilities to its members and to the public, so it was important to select the best bowling surface for this popular club, which also hosts competitions with other clubs.
TigerTurf RinkMaster is a medium-paced synthetic green that gives consistency of play all year round, in all conditions, with minimal maintenance. A durable performance surface, RinkMaster is suitable for every level of play, from club games to national and international tournaments.
To get the best performance from this premium, needle-punch surface, the club asked TigerTurf to build new ditch walls and to rectify some aspects with the pre-existing base. The reconstructed base keeps the surface stable and well drained, so it is playable in all but the worst weather conditions.
And Victoria does bad weather very thoroughly! Even after a downpour, the members are quickly back on the green to resume play, without disrupting the club games schedule.
The TigerTuf Rinkmaster bowling green will be looking good and playing well for the Yarram Country Club members for many years.
