ISO Certification added to TigerTurf with ISO 45001

Back in November 2019, before the age of COVID, we submitted our application to BSI for BS ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) certification. Nine months later, whilst navigating the ‘new normal’ and new challenges COVID has thrown at us, we are thrilled to announce that BSI has certified our OSHMS operates in compliance with the requirements of this ISO standard.

Our team is critical to our success, and their health, safety and wellbeing are of utmost importance. To demonstrate our strategic commitment, we needed to develop our health and safety management system further to ensure health and safety risks associated with our business activities are effectively mitigated. Throughout the months following our submission, we developed our existing Health & Safety Management System in alignment to ISO requirements.

The accreditation is a welcome addition to our two existing BSI certifications 9001 and 14001, and will provide a framework to:

• prevent work-related injury and ill-health and provide safe and healthy workplaces through effective preventive actions.
• fulfil our moral any legal duties to our workers and visitors.
• monitor our performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• better engagement and communicate with our workforce on matters regarding their and the health & safety of others.
• create better, healthier, and safer workplaces.
• demonstrates to our industry stakeholders our commitment to excellence, be it our existing BSI ISO Quality (9001:2015) and Environmental (14001:2015) and now our new Occupational Health & Safety Management System (45001:2018).

As a business, we are delighted to achieve such a highly regarded certification, especially during the extenuating circumstances of a pandemic.
